Interface Reinforcement increases the durability of contact points with other components, such as the stem. The wide contact surface on the upper bar relieves the pressure on the heel of your hand during recovery phases, as the pressure points are larger. The diameter of the drops increases from top to bottom. This also relieves the strain on your hands. They help you to achieve a more ergonomic lower handlebar position, while at the same time preventing numb, tingling fingers.
