Product Description Better ergonomics and braking power: the Tech 3 Brake Lever by Hope The Hope Tech 3 reservoir replaces the Tech Evo reservoir. Hope has tried to further integrate the advantages of the Tech Evo reservoir, as well as to improve ergonomics and handlebar integration. The Tech 3 works with all current calipers and is 5 % more powerful than the Tech Evo lever. It is still possible to adjust the lever width and the pressure point, and the piston is actuated by means of a cam and a roller system so that the lever can be pulled without empty travel and jamming parts. The two-piece clamp simplifies assembly to on the handlebars. The Tech Evo reservoir is relatively bulky and it is also difficult to find space for it on the handlebars when shift grips and the remote for the seatpost still have to be mounted. For this reason, Hope has made an effort with the Tech 3 to create a reservoir that can be easily integrated with other shifters. As a result of this design, the reservoir is no longer identical for the left and right. However, the Tech 3 can be combined with the Shimano I-Spec (I-Spec-A only) shifter without a special lever clamp. A filigree and inconspicuous lever clampis available as a retrofit part for SRAM, as well as for Shimano I-Spec II.
